Ive always loved mustnags and im lookin to buy one soon. I learned how to drive stick on a 1993 5.0 GT with only 55,000 miles on it but it slipped out of my hands when my father passed away. Im looking to either buy a fox body gt for a cheap amount and put some money into it or a newer model. Im going to see a 1996 svt cobra with 80,000 miles on it and need to know what to expect (ive been told 80,000 is where most ford begin to fall apart) if i decid to get it. Thanks and appreciate it!

Don't really know from experience, but when I was looking at buying a 4.6L (was short lived) and I went over and asked questions in that part of this forum, and it seemed that anywhere near 100k they considered 'moderately high mileage'. In a 5.0 100k is just beginning to break in! It is hard to find a low mileage 4.6 (especially a cobra) that wouldn't be very expensive. If you like that body style, go with a 94-95 5.0 GT. That's what I did.
