Default Anyone run a TFS Stage 2 cam with the Systemax II setup?

I'm thinking of a different cam. I have the early Systemax II cam, which has a 107 lobe sep. 218/222 @.050 509/509. It screams at WOT, but driveability sucks.

I was thinking about steping it up with a TFS Stage II cam. (224/232 @.050) I think I can get more torque with the 112 lobe sep, and more power, along with better driveability out of this cam.

What do you think?

What gear would you run in a 5 speed on the street? I have a 3:55 right now.

Thanks, Mick.

It bucks at slow cruising speeds, like 25 MPH in 3rd, or 45 MPH in 5th.

I have a stock computer, but I'd rather spend like $250-$300 for a new cam, and springs that the EEC IV can deal with, and will get more potential power from, instead of paying like $600 for a custom chip, and tune.

I have a motorsport cam in mine and it buck at low speeds sometimes too,and also when you let off the gas while cruising in 4th or 5th gear it sucks. I was told most 5 speed cars with a cam do this, I dont know if thats true or not but that sh*t gets on my nerves. My point is that the cam change may not get rid of the "Bucking", it may be something else.

why not find a like new treecer under 250.00?....and twf2 is more cam and better, due to it's higher lift on the exhaust...
