I have decided to build a new motor for a back up this race season. I need a little assistance locating parts as I am having trouble finding what I need. Motor in mind is a 93 cobra all parts need to be same as stock 93 cobra longblock. Its not to easy finding a stock cobra longblock as you can guess.



1: Are the blocks form the 94 cobra the same as a 93
2: Are the gt 40 heads also the same.
3oes anyone have a idea what the piston weight was?
4:1.72 rollers were stock if im correct



If anyone has answers it would help out great as for the cam I am gonna have to call ford and find the cut there.

dont know all your answers, but 1.7's were stock on cobras... gt 40 heads are basicly the same, as for the 94-93 cobra block, im going to guess there the same since they are probobly both a 302..¿

i dont see where there could be any diffrence in blocks, a 5.0 roller block is a 5.0 roller block. Is anyone else aware of a diffrence. I think they are all the same.
