Default Body kits?

Alright, first of all i wanna say that this is something that im looking into for a reason (hopefully its not to "ricy" of an idea).

I was just wondering if they make a light weight body kit for the sn95 mustangs. Im looking into every way possible to save weight but keep it street legal on the outside. Any ideas?

bah! you don't need a body kit...that'll save minimum weight. start removing things like the a/c, smog pump, rear seats, spare, etc...

fiberglass, but it breaks easy and if its not a good company have fun putting it on. Urethane is the best cause it can flex but is heavier, Ebay kits fit like sh*t. I installed a sallen kit on a 99 stang and it was horrible

Tiger Racing, they make carbon fiber race fenders and hood, the fenders are 4 pounds each and are 3 inches wider than stock, and the hood is 8 lbs, but your talking like 2 to 3 grand in body parts its not street car stuff

ah, i started off with weight reduction cause it seems to be less expensive to just remove stuff instead of buying lighter stuff!

;puts on flame retardant suit;

I just plainlike body kits! Rice to me is a car with hundreds if not thousands of dollars in visual "upgrades" with no performance enhancers. domestic people are just wierd like that. I mean the ROUSH mustangs have "body kits" and the SALEEN mustangs have "body kits" but you dont here people running around calling them rice. Lets not forget body kits where actualy made for performance. To get better air flow to front mount intercoolers and to improve aerodynamics. It didnt become rice until people started putting them on everyday bone stock cars just for the "look". I have akit on my RX7, it was cheaper than factory parts, provides better flow to the radiator and oil cooler. Plus the width will help when it comes time to tuck the 17X10.5" rims out back and the 17X9" rims up front.

To each their own, if you wanna body kit, do it!
cruizinconcepts.com has a few...
