your throw out bearing sounds like its gone along with your clutch adjustment quadrant located under the dash. Check the quadrant and see if its broke. Oh, and ALL t-5s grind going into reverse. Try going into third and then reverse.

have you tried adjusting it? stick your foot under the clutch peddle and pull up till it clicks. do this about 5-10 times. go out and see how it shifts and to tell if the clutch disk is going bad cruise around in 3rd around 2k rpm and just punch it if the rpms spike and the car goes no where your disk is shot and you need a new clutch. as for the transmission your t5 is fine dont worry about getting a tremmic just yet

dude, sounds like nothing huge at all, just sounds like ur quadrant needs to be adjusted... if the way above doesnt work, theres another way, i can type it all out for u if need be. reverse is going to grind, it is not syncronized. plate is prob. fine, t/o bearing is fine, duno why someone said that... it just needs to have the quadrant adjusted, and prob will go away

not to jack this thread, but do all foxbodys have this adjuster, or is it only aftermarket?
