Make life a bit easier on yourself and take out the seat. You can also remove the steering colum.

so it works fine after u drive a few miles??? do u warm up the car at all b4 i drive or do u just start it up let it idle for like 30 sec. then go? sounds like a lubrication problem in the tranny to be, check the fluid level and the smell of it too

I usually just go! - :P (to used to an automatic in my DD)

I figure I should check the fluid and replace it if need be while I am doing all of this.

The main reason for replacing the clutch pedal assembly is due to the previous owners stupidity. There is way to much play in the pedal with the current one.

Hopefully I can get this done this week. If I get too annoyed I will take out the seat and the entire steering column.

I really don't know what to do at this point.

If anyone lives in the Northern VA andis willing to help me out, that would be great.

I'll buy some beer, or pay you to help me finish this!

remove the seat and you will be able to rip everything out easier. I took out my seat when i put in my new clutch linkage. The install went buy so much faster once the seat came out. There are only 4 bolts holding the seat in. Its so easy to do and it will make ur life so much easier under the dash.
