Default ah **** what did i do?

so yesterday, i had a little extra time on my hands blah blah blah

i applied 2 coats (within a 10 min period each) of engine degreaser just like the instructions said

i hosed her down pretty good, covering the battery, the battery connections, the spark plugs or any other wiring that would have gotten directly hit

afterwards i made sure she ran ok, let her idle for a good 20 minutes, testing the windows, radio, a/c, ect.

today as i rev the engine, it seemed to get stuck at 2000 rpm, uh oh...

i tried it again and reved up fine but once it hit around 3500 rpm i heard a *pop* from somewhere near the headers

it did this almost everytime i hit somewhere near 3500 rpm. i was running open headers the other day but decided to put my flowmaster catback system back on, does this have anything to do with it?

thanks for reading

sounds like a vac leak...I hope you used a low pressure hose. I would imagine 10-20yr old parts would not take well to high pressure water. Pull the codes as well and see if the car wants to tell you whats wrong.
