Need help! over heating problem

Default Need help! over heating problem

I just got my motor put together and it overheats quickly. I changed the water pump the fan clutch and the thermostat the radiator is brand new als o. My dad think saysmaybe a head gasket issue. any help would be greatly appreciated.

yes we toped of the coolant with the motor running. is there a different way?

start the motor, top off the coolant.

let it IDLE up to operating temperature. do not fiddle with the throttle while the rad cap is off.
it could take up to 20-30 minutes for the car to be able to reach 195~ idling... be patient.

once the thermostat opens, the coolant should suck down quite a bit.
keep topping it off until it starts to come back out at you. put the cap on. done.

are you positive the headgaskets were put on correctly, there is a front and a back
