CHI sells intakes matched to their heads, but yes, you need an intake to work with the heads, because the port locations are different on C heads

b&a streetboss or trackboss intakes were made for the 302 and one of the flavors (single or dual plane) were made for the 351w. they are getting hard to find, but if you go the CHI route you get CHI intake to match.

but u need the pistons, along wit an intake just to make it work. im just saying i would love to do it but i dont have the time or the money. so im going bbf
yea but i was referring to what made its difficult to build since thats what everyones complaint always it. when your building a motor your gonna be buying new pistons and most likely a new intake anyways.

are yall speaking of those heads with the large tennis ball shaped holes?

I seen them on a windsor motor in a local shop several years back, making 550 hp on a 418?(351 w.), the torque was sick, the noise alone would drop your mouth[X(]

this swap is very unfamiliar with me, the cost kinda scares me.

New Pistons

Special Molded Intake Manifold/modded

Balance Job for new pistons,

Drilling Coolant Holes in the block.

Grinding down bumps in the heads and a few other minor mods.

back then that was cheap to do, knowdays, they smell you coming and wax your azz like there is no tomorrow
