aode06 its really not too bad, any decent rebuild is going to consist of new pistons obviously and a balance job. sure, the intakes are a bit more expensive - but the extra machine work can be done with anyone who owns a drill with the exception of the large freeze plug holes on the bottom deck surface of the head (this shouldnt cost too much for a shop to drill a couple holes). the hardest part is probably figuring out headers that will fit properly in the car.

408 or 427 stroker with old school 4v heads and i dont care if there are better flowing heads out there, its all about making oodles of power with ford castings IMO - its just sexy
