Default Help on blown thermal fuse

I recently took my mustang to the shop to see if they could fix my air bag, it has been blinking a code 51. They told me that it is more than likely due to a blown thermal fuse inside the air bag monitor system. They didn't fix the problem, since they didn't have the time that day to actually properly diagnose it. I was wondering if anyone out there knew how to fix this problem. Can I just go on the internet and find a thermal fuse for a mustang and replace it? I read somewhere that it was pretty cheap to replace. Or should I replace the entire air bag monitor?I have also heard that more than likely there is a short in one of the wires i.e. a wire is touching ground and caused the thermal fuse to blow. I don't even know where the air bag monitor is located on the car, is it in the steering column or under the hood. Can someone help me out on this? Thanks in advance.
