i have a 86 gt right now all it has done to it are 3.73's and flowmaster mufflers...
i am planning on doing a few more things to it such as a a mid pipe intake and a few other small things so far i am thinking about a bbk o/r x or h pipe still have not decided and a typhoon intake and under drive pullies.. as for the x or h any sugestions and for the intake wat size throttle body would be best to use, also for under drive pullies i have heard they give some people some trouble with things like their alternator and truth to that? lastly my car is speed density and i was wondering if any of the things i have listed above would make my car not run so well casue its speed density.. so any thoughts or comments or anything would be great becasue i really wana start ordering some stuff any kind of help would be awesome, thanks!

X pipe will give you a raspy (gross) sound, H pipes will make it sound like a muscle car should! The only benefit of an X is a few more horses, but not enough to be very significant. Leave the TB stock for now, it's fine for your application. Someone who runs a lot of accessories would have problems with u/d pullies, but under normal circumstances you shouldn't have much of an issue. It'll be fine with the SD system right now, the one thing about 86's though is that they had flat top pistons. This causes clearance problems with most aftermarket cylinder heads, so just keep that in mind

wonl't i need a new or bigger throttle body if i get the typoon intake tho? and if so wat size would be the best for that intake/my car

you dont have to get a new tb.

And i say x-pipe. ive had mine for 5 or so years and i love it.

its great for the money. I had to open it up a bit due to buying a 75mm TB. and it was a little rough in some spots so i just went thru and smoothed it out a bit. Here are a couple pics from before i installed it

yea the typhoon is a nice peace.. good price as well.. i use to have it and i have no complaintes here.... i would go with a 70mm

Do you mean that the second two vids are with the factory exhaust? Or that it had no mufflers at all?? You say "before I put mufflers on it." - Just curious what you meant by that.

yeah the second two vids, i had no mufflers. just bbk o/r x-pipe and bbk headers
