Is anyone running some trach heat heads with some 1.7RR's & a E303 cam? If so, did you have any problems with P/C or anything else???

You should really check the clearance but it shouldn't be a problem especially with trickflow heads.

Sorry, I meant P/V clearance. The guy from trick flow said that if we use the upgraded springs (.600) that we would have to use the 1.7 rr's so that the springs wouldn't get damanged. He said it should be about .535 lift with the E303. Does this sound correct???????

.528 lift with a e303, take the listed spec (with stock 1.6 rocker) of .498 and devide by 1.6, that gives you .311 cam lift. multiply that by 1.7 for your new lift figures.

you are going to be very close with p/v clearance, its generally more a matter of duration. the e303 is 220@.050 and most people run into problems around 224@.050 .

why the e303 cam? its old school technology. if you have it i can see using it but why not use somthing that makes more power. as much as i hate trickflow the stage 2 cam would be a good choise for your engine.

The cam is already in the car. Should I just use the stock springs that come on the twisted wedge heads with the E303?

i'd definitly get the upgraded springs
you dont NEED 1.7 roller rockers
you DO need hardened pushrods
