I am swapping in a 351W with a 5-speed trans and I was wondering if I get a A9L computer and use a stock wiring harness for a 5.0L will it run my 351 with no problem until I can go get a programmable one or build my own like a Megasquirt....or should I just get a programmable up front???

yes it will run it, might need dyno tune to smooth out idle and get max power.

Yep,
The MAF meter and cam will probably have more of an impact on the 'drivability' than the CID will...

You won't have any major issues though,
