Prelube your valvetrain, and prime your oil pump (1/4" bit with extensions will do, duct tape it together good so nothing drops into your pan! Ford pump needs to be spun CCW)

Speaking of risks. For the real cautious type. Fill the radiator with water. After everything is sorted out. Dump it and fill with coolant. If you get 8L in you'll have a 50/50 mix. This is because if just by chance, coolant gets into your oil from a bad head gasket or something going on with the heads. You will not lose your bearings.
