STARTING PROBLEMS PLEASE HELP!!! VERY IMPORTANT!!!!
 

Alright the mustang is finally together and were ready to start it.......turn the key and the fuel pump never kicks on....yes the fuse is good and thats about all we know to check.....please help me.What is wrong? why isnt it starting??

ok well at least you know the ignition is good. two things to check, the inertia switch in the trunk, and the fuel pump relay. i'm not exactly sure where its located on a 95, maybe Adder will read this.

isnt the inertia switch the one that kicks the pump off??? cuz we did try that too i forgot....and maybe skinny_man18 will be on in a minute cuz hes been helping me with it and he knows a shell of a lot more about 5.0s than i do

the fuel pump wiring goes from the computer, to the relay, to the inertia switch, to the pump.
if the inertia switch is "off", the pump wont receive power.

got a test light? turn the key on and stick the test light into the wiring harness for the inertia switch. if you got no power there, you got no power coming from the relay.

check for voltage at the inertia switch.... they go bad

fuel pump relay is in the CCRM... good luck with that
