I would love a v-8, but with gas prices and my parents being control freaks I was lucky I was able to get a mustang of my own. the told me that they dont want me in a v8 car and if I were to put one in it, they would sell it when I am at school or have it "donated" to one of those charity BS things....

I'll count my good graces and keep what Ive got.

with the right mufflers I can get a decent sound, I dont want something hugely loud, just something with a nice rumble.
but when I move out after college the first thing I am doing is picking up another mustang, either an s-197 or a Terminator, cuz then I'll be making some decent money

now when I get a new tank, is it bare steel? cuz I'd just POR-15 the living hell out of it...

how hard on a scale of 1-10 is it to replace the tank, or am I better off leaving this one to the pros?

I know a tank is 100 bucks, and then maybe 50 more for the rest of the equipment, and while I'm down there, I'd get a new fuel pump...

your not gonna get a "rumble" out of a sixer, its just gonna sound more like an import. Granted a lot of sixers sound good, but IMO, in this case, not so much.

forget the sixer. 5.0 all the way. 5.0 = more power and better sound.

There are? I've NEVER heard ONE!!! IMO, don't waste your money. Check out the sixer section, the duals on those just don't have what it takes!

Yea if you HAVE to keep the 6, just S/C it for some power. Those 3.8s are dogs dude. I still wouldn't do duals on that 6. It's a disgusting sound, trust me on that one. You'll definately turn some heads, but you'll probably see a gag look on their faces.
