Heres's what's up. The intake ports on my GT40X heads are too tall for Felpro 1250s but while the Felpro 1262s fit perfectly heightwise, they are about a 2/16ths of an inch too wide. The parts store guy who sold me the 1250s said the 1262s might cause turbulance by not being a perfect fit. I have boths sets now. What heads do any of you have and what gaskets are you using?

i match ported my gt-40x heads to 1262s so it would be a smooth flow

Your not really going to get a noticable loss in power from the gaskets port opening being a little too wide. I would bolt it on as is and not worry about it. But thats just me. Also the 1250's can be trimmed up some but probably not enough.
