i have an 87 gt mustang just did recent tune up car will run fine then all of a sudden will hesitate and jurk on take off if i floor it it feels fine tjis has been an on off problem for about a month...any advise would be great

well define tune?

did you buy new spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap and rotor, clean the injectors with lucas, PCV valve, oil filter and change, air filter, fuel filter, clean out the throttle body and do a compression test?

if you did all of these things or most of them, check your TPS voltage, check if you running rich youll smell this on the exhaust all the time.

yes all but compression test and fuel filter car runs really strong other than a sometimes jurky miss

get a new fuel filter. clean your injectors with lucas, the miss could be fuel cut..

you might have a bad fuel pump or are running near empty. i suspect its a problem in the fuel system.

thanks but why would it run fine 2 hours after it was hesitatating then a week leter act up again

did you set the timing and forget to put the spout connector back into the wiring harness at the distributor????

well i looked in my manuel and it said the 87 gt tps is not adjustable but i still loosened it up moved it a little and miss is gone weird
