What type of alternator should I get since I have underdrive pulleys?

You should have a 130amp. Even with an underdrive pulley that should be fine unless you got a big system in it.

I am going for the 200 amp one I found on ebay for $130. It should be big enough for anything I can throw at it.

i bought 1 of those 200 amp alternators for my ranger, it has a big sound system and 2 pairs of driving lights on the brush guard and im very happy with it, it handles the load, plus i have an optima battery

I look at it as a 1 time buy, and I already have my stereo equipment, can't use it because my current alt. can not even support just running the car at this point.

shouldn't the gauge wire be the same. I did not even think about the 200 amp alt needing a a 2 g. Better to be safe than sorry

as long as its within 2 guages it will be fine, the ground wire is always a little thinner than the pos. or was it 4 guage pos and 6 neg, im not sure

I wouldn't even put it on, the little difference it will make. The crank pulley gives you the most.
