so all these people that have said 15% loss...people have been making alot more rwhp than they think then....i wonder how many hp ill lose with a well built and stalled aode?

consider this...
an average Sn-95 GT is rated at 215bhp, makes ~180rwhp. 35hp loss foxes usually do 190, but are rated around 225bhp... coincidence?

a 94-95 cobra (same drivetrain) makes ~240bhp (claimed to be underrated some people assume 270bhp)

your average 94-95 STOCK cobra will dyno between 210 and 220rwhp
what do you get when you add 35 to 210-220??? 245-255bhp....

cmon guys... I cant be that far off?

either making more RWHP from a BHP stand point... or making less BHP than they expected from a RWHP figure

so then say a 500bhp 5.0 with stock drivetrain would make ~470rwhp? correct?

dependent on other factors... but yes, 455-470

It does... If you install a TKO600 in a bone stock mustang 5.0, you will see less RWHP.

yeah it would depending how many was used. and yes adder is making alot of scence but everyone always said 13% loss so thats what i went by. and since the loss amount will get higher has more hp you have it doesnt make scence then...like adder said.

but things like an aluminum flywheel and driveshaft arent significant enough, the trans is the biggest factor
