I thought i saw a picture on here or somewhere, where someone had done that

I put my nitrous and methanol switches in the ashtray. Does that count?

I've seen a picture of it set up like that in a mustang magazine I have. I'm in the middle of moving and I have no clue where to look right now for it. I've thought about trying that my self when I seen it.

What exactly would the point of that be anyway?
You can get thecontrol/stereo flip plate that relocates the controls to below the stereo if the stereo location is your concern.

it wouldnt be hard at all. just take the whole HVAC control head, and move it to the ashtray. you'll have to fabricate some brackets and stuff, after that, just splice and add wire/vacuum hose. just make sure the vacuum hoses dont get pinched when you run them thru the console
