IAC/rev mod

RE: IAC/rev mod
i know what hes talking about.
when i did plugs/cap/rotor/etc.. i noticed my car "responded" quicker in acceleration and deceleration (returned to idle very quickly)
it used to sit at 1200-1300 for a second or two then drop to 800.. VERY ANNOYING!

RE: IAC/rev mod
I know what he is talking about. The 94 and 95's have this problem, especially when modding. With a 5 speed it wants to stay at 2200 or more between the shifts. The IAC is good, it is an emissions standard programed into the system.
I do not remember where I saw the mod for 5.0, but it was another Mustang type forum. 94 and 95 throttle bodys have an Idle adjust screw so we don't have to worry about idle cutout. I would use a piece of sheet metal or if you have access to a milling machine make one out of aluminum. I tried it a while back and it worked for me. I could still run my A/C and Defrost without killing the engine at a stop light and it kept the idle down between the shifts.
