Another Elect Fan Help Question
Ok, I searched the threads some, did not see nothing but a hoshposh of threads on elect fan conversions on our cars. Nothing really thatwhen into detail fromstep 1.
So if there is a thread please point me in that direction.
I have a 88 GT. I have the mech fan, new clutch. I HATE IT.
I have access to a billion Fords of all makes. Which late model Ford has the most correct fan set up for my 88 with a stock set up? I know I need to upgrade my ALT also, what do I upgrade too? What fan would be a direct bolt in for the most part? How do I wire it in? I want it set up to go off and on, on it's own.
HELP

RE: Another Elect Fan Help Question
i am in the same boat and have been searching around.. saposedly the lincoln mark 8 fan is the best fan around and pulls some serious air. also the alternator from the same car is a higher amp alternator. i don't know for sure if the alternator is a direct bolt in or not.
