Default Long tubes on a 94/95

How hard are long tubes to install on a 94/95 SN95? I had a 2000 Z28 that I just sold. Me and a buddy installed long tubes on it without much problems. I'm looking to get a 94/95 and was just wondering of the difficulty involved with bolting on long tubes on the SN95 body style. Also, if somebody could recommend some top of the line long tubes for the 5.0. Also, is there a company that makes stainless long tubes for the 5.0? Thanks again. If long tubes are a pain, recommend me some good mid lengths, preferably stainless ones.

How difficult? Please explain in detail. I mean, do you have to jack the engine up or is it a tight fit to get the long tubes up from underneath the engine bay? On my Camaro, we had the bring the long tubes up from underneath the car.

I have no personal experience but from what Ive gathered on here you have to undo the steering linkage and raise the passenger side of the motor for installation. The drivers side one most likely goes in from the bottom and the pass side might go in the top...

Alright. What are some good brands that make long tubes for the 94-95 5.0? I know QTP, Kooks, Stainless Works and Hooker top the list for long tubes for an LS1, which is what I used to have. What is top of the line for the 5.0? And is there a brand that makes stainless long tube headers? I live in Ohio and winters are rough here, so that is why I would want stainless. It's worth the extra pennies to me.

i have installed bbk longtubes on my car 2 months ago. easy to do. loosen motor mounts and lift and roll motor alittle bit. no need to disconnect sterring linkage or anything else.

Ive got a pair of equal length shorties for sale for a 94/95... cheap money too

long tubes on a SN95 are not easy to do at all if you still have all the accessories.
