build what you got untill it dies. if you want to make big power start with a aftermarket block.
just how much power do you paln on making anyways. in a light weight carlow 10's high 9's are about the reliable limit for a stock 351w block. longevity becomes a concern after that. the will do it for a while but you never know. it depends on the power as well, n20 is the hardest as the pressure spike is unreal, turbos and sc is a little easier. if you build a bullet proof bottom end a high winding n/a seem to hold real well.
a 302 is 500 or so crank, 351w (late) is around 600, early 650. you can make alot more and some will live, some will die.
