Put new TFI in.... no luck

Put new TFI in.... no luck
Well i got the TFI in, took a little time for the car to start up initially(i almost gave up) but then it kicked on, ran for about 10 seconds then started klanking and bogged out, had to give it some gas to start it again and it will kick back on but as soon as i let it go back to idle it clanks and bogs out again, any suggestions..........

it took about 20 seconds to start initially after the TFI was put in, then it ran fine for about 10 seconds then bogged out, could it just be the fuel filter?

Sounds like its' somewhere along the fuel system. Try the filter can't hurt if it needs changing anyway it's a cheap try...

you probably installed the distributor wrong at some point.... It's always best to troubleshoot before you go blowing money.

Have you tested the fuel pressure? Have you ever removed the distributor? Do you know if you have spark?
