My upgrades week
Hey, this might not sound like a lot for you guys, but I'm usually doing things one at a time due to financial constraints, but this past week or two, has been the rush for me when it comes to auto parts, here is what I'm getting or already got this week:
(2x) 245/50ZR16 BF Goodrich G-Force tires put on the back
new front brake rotors
MAC 2.5" off-road H-pipe ($100, no tax, no shipping, got myself a deal)
MSD TFi ignition coil, still waiting for this to arrive
MSD distributor cap and rotor kit (I already have new spark plugs and 9mm wires from Ford)
Electric fan
Not a lot compared to the type of hardcore upgrades I see in some of your cars, but it is a lot for me.
I guess after all of that, my total list of modifications on my car will be:
Steeda Sport Springs
Tokico adjustable shocks
Shorty headers
2.5" exhausts (by Steeda I think)
2.5" MAC off-road H-pipe
K&N filter (not really considered a mod unless I'm a ricer, but still very convenient)
Electric fan
9mm Ford Racing spark plug wires
MSD TFI ignition coil
MSD distributor cap and rotor with hold down kit
slightly wider tires in the back
Not exactly a drag racer, but does that kind of make my car considered "modified?" Should make for a smoother and stronger ride than before at least, lol.

RE: My upgrades week
well anything over stock is modded. i dont consider modded to you have a decented set of H/C/I and so forth... honestly no need to spend top dollar on rear tires. youll be pissing your money away, since youll probably burn htem off a few times so why pay all tha money unless those tires come with a very cheap price

Its always fun making mods on your car.
I paid $57/tire for my rear tires and they are pretty good. Not the greatest traction in the world but the price makes them worth it to me. 245/50/16 Khumo Ecsta 711.

good tires arent worth the money if your a young pup. all he will do is burn them off. and they did a comparison a few years ago. a certian pep boy tire is close to the handling of some of the better tires.

RE: My upgrades week
Well, like I said, it's not a drag racer, I don't really race, it's my everyday car, I just like it to run strong and to make ricers cry occassionally.
The rear tires cost me about $110 each, not too bad for the quality, I find the wet traction on these are FAR better than the cheaper yokahama z-rated tires I had on it before, those SUCKED in the rain. Down here in South Florida, wet traction is REALLY important, so I don't want to risk going cheap and getting horrible wet traction, and dry traction is obviously important too.
