Default msd box anygood?

I got a 6AL box, i keep hearing msd is junk and not worth the money.. a guy wants to buy it for his nova for 125.. what other ignition box's are good? id liek to have boost retard, 2 step, pretty much all the normal setups i can get for a box i wanna have.. i got a 347with a d1 procharger.. also i have a msd billet distributor, and coil.. should i sell that to?? if so what should i buy thats gonna put outmax performance..

the MSD distributor is junk, and the box will probably fry on you.... you should get a mallory

go all mallory? Ill do what ever it takes to have stuff reliable and thats going to hold up some abuse.. ill check into mallory

Both my dizzy and box are MSD, had them for a LONG time with no trouble. Maybe I got lucky? My coil is Mallory though

ive got msd on two cars.. had it for years no problem.... i always thought mallory was junk???? i guess it is just a matter of opinion personaly i think the crane dizzy and box's are the best though.

It might have to do with when it was made, perhaps some of the newer stuff from certain manufacturers is made overseas?

ive never had any trouble with msd. if msd was junk then u wouldnt see as many of them as u do.

bottom line is msd stuff isnt BAD, but look at your options before assuming msd must be the best way to go.

personally, i would buy a crane setup
