Default Spout Connector

I noticed my idle was a little screwy a couple days ago so I decided to clean some typical parts that would mess with my idle. As I was inspecting around the engine I found my spout connector just gone... Where can I buy a new connector since I cant find the little thing anywhere. I was told a dealer or a wreck yard, its been the weekend so nothing has been open for me to check but is this a common item that will be easy to find or am I screwed? Also to make the car work for now is that connector just a link ex.can I link a wire to the two terminals to jumper it for the time being or does it do more then just that. Thanks again all.
