Yeah, engine parts cost more, who knows why, they love to bring prices up.

A s/c for my 93 5.0 would run me 2500 which puts out 10lbs of boost.

The same s/c for a 99-03 GT i think it was cost 4500. Vortech btw, in the summit mag.
Ok, but um. . . . . thats going from a 5.0 to a 4.6. Pretty big difference there. What i'm really referring to are the internal parts needed for an engine, and heads, intake, water pumps, pulley's, those things.

the accesories are obviously the same, but things like headers and intakes and such are more expensive and different. you cannot swap fox headers for 94-95 because the internal structure of the car is different. plus you can find parts for a fox much cheaper.

personally i think the 94-95 body style is dull in stock form. the fox bodys have a meaner look which is why i got it. 94-95 are also a bit heavier if i remember correctly but then again you want the looks and not the power. so in the end, just get what you want. i prefer power over looks so i got the fox. you can go the other route but you wont be running 13s for a while.

Actualy i'm about to have $10-11k to spend, so i don't think i'tll be too long before I'm running 13's. Car cost for $4k, and then anywhere from $6k to $7k for upgrades. i'm thinking, buy the engine upgardes i want, and then later save money for looks.

With that kind of money, if you make smart purchases and make sure everything works we together, you could be deep into the 11s, if not 10s.

yeah, but i'm really shooting for 12's and a custom looking car.
I'm really trying not to dive TOOO far into loss of gas efficiency until i can get another daily driver. .. . possibly a bike or a 4 cylinder.

i'd rather just do motor upgrades. . .. keep a strong engine to hold onto a turbo later on.

i prefere foxbody, the 94 95 were only made for those years but the foxbodys were made for a long time, and just about everything is interchangeable... i would have to say the body style looks better... and if you put the same ammount of money into a stock fox, then into a stock 94+ i think the fox would look better and be way faster.... IMO
