ok so i just picked up my front lowercontrol arm from the local shop. i had them press is new energy bushings and now i cant get the control arm back into the k memeber it dosent fit. im thinking they pressed them in too far?

Basic rule of thumb for me: if a shop screws something up, then they had better fix it or replace it. No way I'm paying for their mistakes.

I didnt think one could press them in too far, dont they have metal sleeves in them? I got the same bushings and they all had sleeves.

Take the arms back and tell them they dont fit. Like said, i got the same bushings in mine and no problems what-so-ever. Doublecheck your application. If its good then they need to fix thier mistake, and pay for it.

chances are the arms to "torqued in" spread them out and try them again

i had the guy press out one bushing a littlr bit so it would fit. how tight are thses control arms suppose to be in the k member its very difficutlt to mive it up and down
