ok need help
my car is really starting to **** me off . yesterday i died on me and i started it back up and was under hood and reved up on it and it like died and started back up and spit gas out of carb . so i thought maybe fuel pump was bad . took it off little bit ago and the shaft is stiff as hell and it is sucking so i dont think its that now . is there a chance my car has electric fuel pump and manual . before when would shut off car sounded like fuel pump was shutting off or something in the back but im so damn confused right now and have no clue where to turn next . like said yesterday when reved up it would like die and be running again . and then got it to start back up and i let it idle for like 5 min and thought was all good and went to take off and nothing and why did it spit gas out of carb ? when it dies it will start back up if let it set for few min but wont run to long . guy need help on this please thanks .

isnt of getting pissed off and saying screw it, take a breath and take a look at your problem and try to trouble shoot it until you fix your problem. if your gonna get frustrated so easy you dont need a mustang

RE: ok need help
do you have a mechanical pump? if your using a in-tank then you need a regulator for about 5-6 psi....another thing timing will may it spit up thur the carb.....I believe what is happening is you have too much pressure and it flooding the engine becuase the needle and seat don't have enough tension to close when the float is up
