no doubt about it dss blocks are famous around here for spliting under that many horses. my current 347 build started with a dart sportsman block because of the webing reenforcements. i know 3 difrent guys who split dss blocks and one who split a ford motorsport block.

So they advertise 900HP but they will split at 400-450hp?? That's weird. So then now that brings me to what block is the best? Should I just go with a dart block?

This kind of sounds dumb but what is the better block, aluminum or iron? I would think aluminum right?
Now I am leaning towards a dart block but I still am not sure.[:@]
