I Feel Stupid!!!
Okay so my dad was talking to this guy and said one of the big things with the 87 is you need to increase the mass air flow sensor's size to get more air in the motor. Now correct me if I am wrong butI think I have cometo the conclusionthat they don't have one becausedidn't they start with that in 89?? So this is why I feel stupid for asking this, what do they have in place for a mass air flow sensor?? If that makes sense.

You can convert your car to use a Mass air sensor (MAF) and the best sensor to use for cheap money is one out of a 94-95 mustang.... it can be from a 3.8l OR a 5.0
*edit* dont feel stupid.... many people here still do not grasp the concept of a speed density system.

I have 3 SD cars... one was converted to MAF when I bought it, then the computer fudged up and I converted it back to SD (got the original SD computer with the car).. didnt notice a single difference.
