Sounds ban and annoying. Sucking in exhause fumes is annoying. I had to drive mine to the exhaust shop open and I was about to go crazy. Couldn't even talk to the person next to me. People 2 cars over were rolling up their windows causae they couldn't hear.

lies, where did you hear that from?
The sudden rush of cold air on the valves can warp them. That risk is minimized when running long tubes (a lot more hot header to harm the cold outside air coming in).

That's what I've always been told... Seemed like reasonable logic to me.

i ran open long tube for like 6 months it sound sweet but reall loud it the car and cops dont like it to much but you really get the looks from people and my car was pretty much stock
