I have a lot of pedal slack and i'm not sure when I stomp it to the floor its opening up full throttle. I have reached down under the dash and felt the pedal and the cable connection. It seems like it has alot of play. Is there an adjustment at the throttle body linkage to take up the slack or do I have to Engineer something like a spacer to put between the pedal and the cable backstop?

Its an 89 and its taken alot of abuse but still runs excellent.
