Default rpm 2 intake

I bought a edelbrock rpm 11 intake and like a dumbass I installed it but forgot to put on the pcv valve deflector that goes on the lower intake. Should I take it back apart or is this piece not that important?

yea its the stupid metal thing that bolts to the lower intake. They sent instructions for a carb manifold so I didn't know what it was for. after I got the right instructions i seen what it was for. Do you think I need it?

i hope not b/c i just put mine on last night and i didnt kno where it went or what it was. the bolts in the package w/ the gaskets and stuff; some of the bolts seemed old, like they were used. idk i was kinda p-od with the lack of instructions and diagrams. i also had to go het bolts for the upper and lower manifolds and the little plugs for the holes that were not going to be used.

yea its called the PCV valve, my old 1 broke when i took it off and put my holley systemax manifold on, so i went to advanced autoparts and picked up a new. and i believe it connects to the upper manifold right after the EGR spacer connects, well atleast on my manifold

Does anyone know if we need that deflector in the lower manifold because I am trying to get my car together this weekend and I want to know if I have to take it back apart. Thanks for the help.
