id always recommend getting a set of moroso 3 inch long wheel studs with open ended SS/T lug nuts that are recommened with weld wheels. cant go wrong doing everything right.
i thought he already had the proper lug nuts though?
No, I don't have any lugnuts that will fit the Weld wheels. I'll have to order them because the local parts store doesn't carry them.So what size should I order for them to fit properly? When I look at the wheel you can see the stock lugs. They sit just inside the wheel lug holes. I will need the shank lugnuts for sure. So should I go with an open end shank lug or the closed end? Are they 1/2-20?
Buy enough for all 4 wheels. Just because the studs come out far enough in the rear to thread on a acorn nut, doesn't mean you should use it. You need shank style and washers on all the wheels.
Well the problem is that I have larger studs on the rear. They will not handle a stock size lug. They were big enough that the Weld wheels fit very snug over them, and the studs stick out about an inch and a half past the wheel base. I'll try to get pics of them installed tonight. I'm at work right now.
