Vacuum Identification Clarification
I'm am talking about the vacuum line that goes from the top of the throttle body to not sure what it is called but where the other end of the line goes to the where you fill it up will oil. Hopefully you know what I am talking about. If I remember right then those don't need vacuum right? Can I just cap 'em or do they need vacuum? I have fixed my idle prob and in the process I was talking off that specific vacuum line and broke the tube in half:D. So I am just making sure Iwill be fine with just capping them.

Nope....don't cap 'em .....that is the breather hose for the crankcase, or the "secondary escape" tract of the PCV system....need to attach a line or hose from the oil filler neck to the TB.

if your talking about the hose that goes from the throttle body to the oil filler neck then that is a just a breather not a vaccum line...when i got my chrome valve covers it didnt have a filler neck so i just capped the throttle body

RE: Vacuum Identification Clarification
yes that connects to the little tube that comes out of the side of "where u pour your oil?

If you install an open breather, you will create a vacuum leak at the PCV system. The vacuum introduced to the crankcase "breaths" from that hose.....it has to be sourced/connected to the air after the MAF (metered).
