i dont think there were many changes from 92 - 93 except the major one (pistons) go with a 92. anywhere from 89-92 is best.

92 was the last year for Forged pistons while 93 had Hypertunic pistons if you want to mod it up go with a 92 or a 89-92 cause thats when mass air started except for 88 in california mustangs. But if you want to mod it up definately go with a 89-92 if you dont go with a 93 but there pistons are crapier and if you want to mod it up you will have to get new pistons so 89-92 is your best bet. They last a while to one of my friends had a 91 and his mom owns it now it has alomst 200,000 miles on it and still runs strong.

do you not think i know what im talking about? wall clearence is the space between the pistons and the cylinder walls, hypereutectic pistons are closer to the cylinder wall moreless, therefore, the motor will last longer and not burn a drop of oil at 100k miles as a forged motor probaly would, you get the idea............. forged= handle more hp like as in power adder use......... hyper.= longer life....
