Default gettin new intake...

Whats the difference when the rpm band is from Idol- to 5500rpm vs. a Intake manifold that is 1500-6500rpm? what the difference and what do those numbers mean?

the numbers mean where the intakes are making sufficient power. the one that says from idel to 5500 willl make the most power there, but the drop off once it gets past 5500. the one thats 1500-6500 will make maximum power in this rpm range. It will have a SLIGHT amount of laf down low but the power will stay a little higher in the rpm range. For street driving, go with the idle to 5500, for racing go with the 1500 to 6500

though if you think about most the time the car revs past 1500rpm due to the 4.10 gears. should I go with the 1500rpm instead of the idol one?will the car bog alittle below 1500rpm if I choose that one?

well if the motor makes the most power at 5500 rpm you shouldnt be shifting after that any ways.

unless your going to be taking the R's into 6k, go with the idle-5500..... if your motor is set up for high rev's then go the other one.....
