Default electric choke

I know there are two wires for the choke but what do they hook up at exactly? I have an eldelbrock 650 performer goin into my 83. it originally had a v6 in it and im not sure where those wires are anymore. its been about 4 years since I pulled the 3.8 out so I'm not sure where they are anymore.

Default RE: electric choke

One goes to a power when you turn on the key and the other is a ground.
