T-tops are much rarer than the verts, I have yet to find another t-top model around me, quite a few verts, I love them all, but I love my t-top model the most, I am glad I found one.

+1, I was totally excited when I found mine, even if it has the crapped out boat anchor of an engine.... no offense to the 3.8 guys...

I have only seen 1 other 3.8 t-top hatch. it was on ebay in florida. had the exact same engine, trans, color, interior even options... the only difference was his interior was $h!ttier than mine and I have the 10 hole GT wheels....

other than that, there is only one other t-top fox where I live and thats my mechanic's '87 GT...

It looks like if you put a couple hundred into it it would be worth more...like new lights for starters. I would keep it and figure out why you get so bad of mileage.

pretty rare in '87 ,"cars and concepts" did the t-roof i think

'88 are really rare cuz they were not supposed to offer it anymore, but some early orders slipped through

it wasn't mid year endingfor sure though.

i would say value is somewhere $4200-$5000

but what it's worth to you is most important

congrats, nice find

Looks pretty sweet, thats probably my favourite hood on a mustang. If i were you I'd keep it and fix it up. T-tops are hard to come by. I've never seen an 87/88 t-top fox in real life. Seems like a good deal especially with a new engine.

+1 they do look small.
