Stage 8 Locking Header Bolts???
Hey. I have a 1990 5.0 Mustang Lx. I'm going to throw on some BBK shorty headers soon enough. Anyways, I was looking on www.steeda.com and I found these Stage 8 Locking Header Bolts. I'm thinking these would be a good investment when replacing the headers? Has any one purchased this product before? If I could get some feedback as to whether or not it would be a good idea to buy these new bolts that would be great. Thanks for your time. Here's the link for the product.

Also, Should I be conserned about switching the headers? Like I've head of problems with stripping bolts and what not. The eninge is very clean, never seen winter and No rust what so ever. What else could I do to prepare for this job? (WD-40 the bolts or? ect.... ) Thanks

RE: Stage 8 Locking Header Bolts???
save your money use regular header bolts, but dont use gaskets. Use Ultra Black Seal hi temp silicone gasket maker. Put it on and tighten the bolts then get them nice and warm and recheck tightness after that you shouldnt have any problems with headers leaking.

Two of my header bolts came loose so I used allen syle bolts with lock washers and haven't had any problems since.
