Default motor mounts

so i have stock motor mounts in my 89 notch and its a built motor with a big cam. every couple of weeks i notice the motor leans to the right. should i look into new motor mounts?

I would get new ones, mine were totally torn in half when i repalced mine with ES poly mounts

anytime you got built motor or etc. urthene mounts are atleast recomended. some even consider solids. i run solids on my truck and i have urthene on hte notch

never solid for a street car that;s just silly.......I use a small cable to one head and to my frame... I know 1968 chev impalas came from the factory with this cable

I personally would shy away from soild mounts in a street car, the vibrations are terrible. Even with poly mountsthere is a little vibration but is not that bad. IMO solid mounts should be for a race car unless you can bear with the vibrations on the street.

actually in some cases the solids dont vibrate at all compared to stock. with my old truck setup the old tamer motor rocked the truck. nowwith the new 408 the truck doesnt shake or vibrate. truck is also a full frame vehicle.
