how hard is it to tap the driveshaft bolts?? mine are all rounded off and need to be tapped. [:@] the previous owner obivously was a complete dumba$$ and used the wrong socket on the bolts. advice and recommendations would be helpful.

Nope 12 point driveshaft bolts suck. Usually a little heat on the diff flange and a good set of vice grips. If that don't work torch the heads off, get the driveshaft out of the way then you can get a better grip with the vice gripps

what are u talking about vice grips for? how will that help me get the chewed up bolts out without damaging anything else??? im asking about tapping a bolt. tapping = drilling a hole in the bolt and screwing in the tap and then unscrewing the bolt.

Easy out's. That is the best way to get seized studs out of anything. A $10.00 investment. Try that before you put a torch to them though, you will actually harden them with a torch making drilling a bit tough.
