Should I start with the distributer? Or should I just replace the Hall Sensor. And can someone please tell me where on the passenger side is the Turn signal flasher? I checked under the dash on the passenger side and I also checked under the kick panels...

the hall effect sensor is IN the distributor, Its also known as the pickup coil.

If you know someone with a good running Sn-95 5.0 you can swap in their distributor and see if it works

You should be able to take the ignition module and get it checked out at an autoparts store, justm ake sure they test it a bunch of times in a row so it gets warmed up.

Is the Hall Effect Sensor stock in the 5.0? I looked up the part no problem on AutoZones website, but it is not there on Kragens. Also, is it the same thing as the Stator? I looked up Pick-up Coil like was suggested and Kragens came up with the Stator Assembly. Can someone please help? I take it to the shop and they look at me like I'm crazy. But then again, that's besides the point...

Thanks mattdel. This is driving me crazy. I miss the days of my 68 Mustang and my 2.3 Ford Courier. I will call and get a quote on it.
