hey i have that same problem. only difference is mine is a 87 thunderbird. i rebuilt the motor and now has the HO firing order. could it be the computer or something stupid im overlooking. i ran the tests on it and i got both 02 sensors and something about the voltage to the egr was above closed limit. ive read the i might have to switch the order that the injectors are fired due to the new firing order. any ideas

well i pulled the codes with the scanner at school today and found other problems. the car has a siezed egr valve so the guy before me took out the check engine light. what an ***.anyway i think the car needs a tune up with plugs and wires as tehy are both origional with 84000 on them. anybody do an egr valve on these, and where can i get one for cheap?

i havnt rewired the injectors yet. not sure if thats what i needed to do. and for crazy cobra speed. i just put the motor in so the distributor is where i put it after rebuild. the cam i got said to time at around 10 degree btdc. but i have it at almost 30 for it to run. thats why im a lil confused.
