No EGR plate?

Default No EGR plate?

Can i remove the egr plate?. Can i just replace it with a TB spacer? Im not worried about emissions.

yes you can but you will have to do somehtign with your egr ****. also with out the plate you will need a mounting bracket for your linkages. also you will now be shorter with your air tubing. im thinking of this with my set up

why not just remove the EGR valve from the spacer plate and plug up the passageways in the plate with some marine epoxy so it can't leak in any air and just cut a metal plate to fit over the studs where the valve installs and seal the bottom side of it with some RTV and put the plate on in place of the EGR valve, then you can remove the cooling hoses from the plate too and leave everything in place where it already is.

might as well leave it if you already got it[&:] just take off the coolant lines and plug up egr
